Data Center Conditions For Hyper Scalability

Data management is becoming increasingly relevant in the world of organizations. They are used to predict business trends and opportunities, analyze consumption, create personalized solutions and gain in-depth knowledge of the consumer profile.

Thus, the necessary support to obtain quality Data Centers becomes the centre of the business infrastructure and based on this, multiple innovations are planned in the short and medium term. For this, it is essential to know the requirements of data centres to provide the scalability that companies need.

The data centre colocation market in Europe is valued at 8.2 billion dollars, and the estimate is to see a growth of more than 6% to reach 11.75 billion dollars in 2027

The need to manage vast volumes of data leads to the hyper scalability of data centres, which consists of the possibility of increasing their resources and scaling according to the needs of each moment.

Hyperscale data centres with more than 5,000 servers or more than 1,000 square meters in the area differ from others in their architecture. This allows for virtually unlimited scaling of applications and disaggregates infrastructure, higher density and optimized energy use.

Hyperscalability in large data centres is not just about the ability to exponentially increase your resources but the ability to scale broadly, quickly, and on a custom basis. However, this need for resource expansion is inherent in all data centres, regardless of size.

Data centres play an essential role in the new post-pandemic economic stage, and for the solution to be prepared for future market needs and for hyper scalability to be achieved, the following infrastructure conditions are necessary:

Cables with high formation: They are made up of higher fibres that ensure the data centre has the necessary bandwidth to support the large volume of existing traffic.

High-density frames are rack-type cabinets capable of housing and managing many optical connections.

Low-loss solutions: The optical data transmission channel components must have optimized performance parameters to guarantee performance in the most complex topologies.OM5 fibre optic: It is a multimode (MM) type fibre that supports using up to four wavelengths simultaneously. This enables data centre infrastructure reduction while achieving higher transmission speeds such as 200 Gbps, 400 Gbps, and 800 Gbps.
